Work is progressing rapidly on the new Siirt–Kurtalan Railway Line, one of Türkiye’s significant transportation investments. Under the project carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, a new 34-kilometer double-track railway route is being constructed between Siirt and Kurtalan. The line, which will be equipped with modern rail technologies, has been designed for speeds of up to 160 km/h.
With the new railway line, Siirt city center will be directly connected to the national railway network. Travel speed and safety in passenger transportation will increase, while the region’s freight transport capacity will expand significantly.

To meet the ongoing concrete needs for both infrastructure and superstructure works in the region, a Promax C120 TWN L concrete batching plant has been installed at the construction site. With its high-performance and continuous-production-compatible design, the C120 TWN L stands out as a widely preferred solution in railway projects with heavy concrete demand.
Reasons why the Promax C120 TWN L was chosen for the project:
120 m³/hour capacity providing high production efficiency
Twin-shaft mixer ensuring durable and homogeneous concrete production
Continuous operation capability ideal for large-scale infrastructure projects
Stable performance even in challenging terrain conditions
Fast installation and easy transportation
The concrete requirements of critical infrastructure units—such as tunnels, viaducts, culverts, station foundations, and sub-ballast concrete works—are being supplied by the Promax C120 TWN L as the project progresses.

The project includes the construction of the following major engineering structures:
6 tunnels
2 viaducts
Over 10 civil structures (bridges, culverts, crossings, etc.)
New station structures:
Kurtalan Station
Airport Station
University Station
Siirt Central Station
Once completed, the line will bring Siirt up to modern railway standards in both freight and passenger transportation, reducing travel time and strengthening the region’s commercial logistics capacity.
The new railway line aims to strengthen the logistics infrastructure of Southeastern Anatolia, increasing the region’s production and trade capacity. Businesses operating in the industrial, agricultural, and mining sectors will benefit from faster and more cost-effective transportation options.
Additionally, the project provides employment to hundreds of people during its construction phase, significantly contributing to the local economy.
Promax Concrete Batching Plants is proud that our C120 TWN L model has been selected for the Siirt–Kurtalan New Railway Line—one of the region’s most strategic transportation projects. With our high-capacity and durable production infrastructure, we will continue contributing to Türkiye’s major transportation developments.
